Hi, I’m Robin. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) at Wellview Counseling in Roswell, GA specializing in anxiety, trauma, and sleep problems. Coping with life’s stressors can be confusing and overwhelming. Whatever has brought you here today, you are brave to take those first steps. My hope is to create a safe space for you to heal and to find a solution to what keeps you up at night. We will go at your pace and work together as a team to accomplish your goals. Together we will identify and build on your strengths to help you start living the life you deserve. Whether you’ve experienced trauma or struggle with anxiety or insomnia, I will support you as you begin to let go of what is holding you back.
Education
I earned my Bachelors of Art (B.A.) degree in Psychology at Kennesaw State University. I went on to complete my graduate training and received a Masters in Professional Counseling degree at Liberty University. Since then, I have been pursuing advanced training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as further training and studies in sleep disorders.
Counseling Experience
Following my graduate studies, I have had the opportunity to work in various settings, including inpatient hospital settings, in- home services, schools, and community mental health. In a hospital, I assisted patients and families navigating the health system and coping with new diagnoses. I provided trauma counseling and therapeutic support to abused and neglected children and teens in a community family services setting. To support families in crisis, I conducted family counseling and supported parents with parenting skills training. In a community setting, I counseled teens and families referred by the courts and state agencies. Since joining Wellview Counseling, I have continued to support children, teens, adults and families struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma and relationships.
