Therapist
Sarah Schulman, LMSW provides therapy for anxiety, depression, and life transitions for children, teens and adults in Roswell and Alpharetta, Georgia and the surrounding areas.
Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in worry, or disconnected from themselves and others. Sarah creates a calm, supportive space where clients can slow down, feel understood, and begin moving toward healing and clarity. If you are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or not like yourself, Sarah can help you identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck. She can help you build practical skills and tools for managing big emotions and strengthen your resilience and confidence again.
Her approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. She integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy. Sarah enjoys incorporating expressive arts and creative approaches to her therapy as well.
Sarah earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama and completed her Master of Social Work at the University of Denver. She has worked in various clinical settings including in home, schools, and partial hospitalization programs, providing crisis interventions, group therapy, and family counseling. When she isn’t working, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, walking her dog Penny, traveling and reading.
