Individual Counseling
Individual Counseling focuses on your personal goals for change. Clients work one to one with a trained therapist in a safe, caring and confidential environment to explore their feelings, beliefs or behaviors and to identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change. Therapy may include improving life satisfaction or relationships, overcoming depression and anxiety, healing past trauma or hurts, or simply desiring personal growth and greater self-knowledge. For teens and children, individual counseling can help with depression, anxiety, school functioning and social concerns.
Family Counseling
Family counseling includes several members of one family. Parents and children/ teens work together to solve pressing problems, to increase understanding of one another, and to find news ways to connect with each other. At times, adult family members will participate in counseling to solve relationship issues and to learn new strategies to connect with one another.
Play Therapy
For the younger client, play therapy is designed to engage children in the therapeutic process through the language of play. Play therapy may include other modes of treatment such as art therapy, sand tray therapy, and creative use of toys and dolls. It provides little ones an opportunity to process difficult life events or experiences, to express themselves naturally, and to learn new skills, such as social skills, communication skills, and problem solving.
